Red Ribbon Week kick off was this Saturday October 20th. Unite! Youth and community members planted red tulips and tied red ribbons downtown Washougal. Planting red tulips in the fall is a great way to participate in Red Ribbon Week. In the Spring the red tulips will serve as a reminder to Washougal residents that we live, work, and play in a beautiful, healthy and drug free community!
Washougal Schools will participate in a variety of Red Ribbon Week activities during October 23-31st, including poster contests, door decorating, photo contests, and red tulip planting!
